Lincoln tops ACSI Brand Satisfaction Survey

The American Customer Satisfaction Index’s (ACSI) Automobile Report 2016 recently released their report of industry-wide customer satisfaction for automobiles. And this year, Lincoln has earned top honors. The ASCI “is a national economic indicator of customer evaluations of the quality of products and services available to household consumers in the United States.”

Brands are judged in the ASCI on a max satisfaction score of 100. Lincoln bested all competition with a score of 87%. Their score this year is 4 points higher than last year. Lincoln stood atop the nearest competition by a close margin; Honda (86), BMW (85), Toyota (85) and GMC (84) and crushed the industry average of 82.

The ASCI judge brands based on a variety of factors, including performance, dependability, safety, exterior design and gas mileage.  Luxury brands scored higher points for factors such as comfort, quality and technology.
